Say good bye

 

Hello.

This is my last essay from here.

We must say good bye. However, I don’t want to say good bye to anybody. Even if this is time to say good bye, I don’t want to leave because I became very close to our students. At the first time of this class, I wasn’t familiar with other students and a professor. However, I soon got close to here. So I am sorry to end this class. In my case, this class was very helpful and useful. I guess other students will agree with my opinion. My writing skill got better compared to the past. I am very satisfied with this class. It was my lucky and good choice. However, these days, I am going through dry spell. I don’t know what to do. I don’t think my English skill is getting better. Hahaha. I want you to help me overcome this situation.

Anyway, I want to see everyone again.

I believe it is not our last time.

Sumatran orangutan.

Sadly, the ‘Old Man of the forest’ has been subjected to relentless pressures which has reduced the world’s population by as much as 50% during the last 10 years. Orangutans are losing their homes in the rainforest. Tropical rainforests are being cut down for wood to make paper and furniture and the land cleared to grow palm oil for using as fuel and as an ingredient in lots of foods. In addition, Hunting for meat and the demands of the pet trade gave been contributory factors but the more significant issue has been the large-scale clearance of rain forest throughout this region leaving very few habitats let for these apes (Wikipedia, 2011). According to Wikipedia dictionary, “the species has been assessed as critically endangered on the IUCN Red List since 2000. It is considered one of “the world’s 25 Most Endangered Primates.” ” A survey in 2004 estimated that around 7,300 Sumatran orangutans still live in the wild. Some of them are being protected in five areas in Gunung Leuser National Park.

The decline of the orangutan in Borneo and Sumatra in recent years symbolises the devastation of one of the world's biodiversity hotspots - the lowland rainforests of Southeast Asia (Wikidepia, 2011). Across the orangutans' entire range, conversion of forests to oil palm plantations is occurring on a massive scale, logging continues even within protected areas, and planned road networks threaten to fragment the habitat of the last viable populations. These factors are responsible for the loss of almost half of Sumatra's forests in the last 25 years. In this view, I think this species will continue to decrease in population

Laptop VS Desktop

Laptop VS Desktop

First of all, I will explain similarities between laptop and desktop. The main similarity is about internal factors. Both of them work using software. Moreover, it was made by people and it was made of metal and plastic. The important thing is it was developed for benefit of the persons. We use this in the many parts. It is very convenient as well as smart. Computer is necessary to us these days.

On the other hands, from now on, I will explain differences between laptop and desktop. The biggest different thing is potable. At the first time, laptop was made as carrying computer. However, desktop can’t carry comfortably. It is the biggest difference among many points. Another difference is about size. In case of laptop, to easily carry, it is very small and light. However, in case of desktop, it is very big because it use in office and home so it doesn’t need to be small.
Finally, these days, most of the people use laptop. Its demand is rapidly increasing all over the world because it is very portable and convenient. I think laptop is better than desktop as computer. In the future, I guess desktop disappears into darkness soon.  

China vs Korea

China vs Korea

There are representative three countries in Asia. These are Japan, Korea and China. I have lived for 25 years old in Korea since I was born. So I know well about Korea. Moreover, when I was in high school, I have been to china to travel with my friends. It was good memory to me. It was also very funny. In my opinion, there are differences between China and Korea. For example, foods, history, culture and so on. This purpose of essay is to contrast the foods, history, culture between China and Korea.

First of all, difference between China and Korea are foods. In case of china, their foods are very greasy. When I was there, I was very hard because of their greasy foods. Moreover, they use special seasoning made in China. I think the flavor is very different from foods of Korea.

Secondly, the different thing is about history. As you know, the history of China is much longer than Korea. Frankly, their history is beyond compare. They have many historical relics and cite. Moreover, there are many historical sites to see in china. When I was there, I traveled all over the country. It was very fantastic. I can’t forget this memory.

 Third, another difference is about culture. China and Korea have many different cultures in several points. Korean has special connectedness each other. In other words, they have a sense of community and fellowship. It is special point of Korean. Something to notice here is China still leaves communistic idea but Korea is typical democracy country. It is the biggest difference thing between China and Korea.

 Finally, they have many different factors. However, I like both China and Korea. In the future, we have to cooperate with each other. If opponent go through trouble, we have to help. It is truth.

These days, most of the people play the computer game. We can often see them playing the game. They look happy. We know computer game is very funny and exiting. Recently, many funny games made by programmer. Moreover, game market is rapidly growing. It is becoming our main industry in the country.

 In my opinion, there are many kinds of computer games. Not all the computer games are harmful to youths. As you know, abusive and addictive game is very not good however healthy game is good for you. Because we can get rid of stress and communicate with other people. Therefore, Proper game is recommended by experts. Through computer game, you can meet a variety of people. I think it is good chance to experience the other things. When I was high school student, I enjoyed playing game. At that time, I could meet many kinds of people. For example, I met university student, beautiful girls and foreigner and so on. It was my good experience that I could know other world. That’s why I recommend you and that’s why I like to playing the computer game.

 Finally, proper game is very good for you in many points. I would like you to recommend the computer game. If you do not overuse the computer game, it will be very useful for you.

These days, the majority of high school students play computer games. In my case, I also played computer games at high school but I tried to discontinue computer games because the game produced an unwelcome result at high school students. Some school teachers assert that there are three reasons unsuitable at high school students.

 Most teachers mention that intemperate playing computer games can injure mental physical of students because computer game is very addictive. Moreover, computer games have a tendency to be offensive.

 Other teachers claim that students waste the amount of time playing games. So students have insufficiency study time. Most of all, they concentrate school study.

 Some experts say that computer games have a tendency to be addicted. High school students use many times at computer game. They are easily addicted computer game. It is very dangerous point.

 In conclusion, computer games are very dangerous in the high school students. From now on, we must reduce the computer games and we should invest more time to study. The important thing in our life is time. It is something like gold.  We must not spend our valuable time. I believe we can do it.

It’s gone story.

 When I was 20 years old, I went to ski resort with my brother. I was really enjoyed and exited. I climbed to the top taking a lift with my brother. The scenery of top was really beautiful. As soon as I arrived at top, I started going down. It was very fantastic. I could fell thrill. I was cheerfully going down. But while I was going down, it snowed. I had no goggle so I couldn’t see anymore and I couldn’t balance. And then I suddenly fell down. I couldn’t get up again. I realized my arm was broken. I was terribly painful. I was taken to the hospital by patrol. After diagnosis results, I knew my arm was completely broken. I had to get a surgery. My parents were shocked. At that time, I was sorry that I hurt my parents feeling. I don’t want to remember the incident. Looking back on it now, I had to be more careful. I am regretting now.

 Finally, I will be more careful whatever I do and I made a decision.  I will not go to the ski resort again.

One of the most memorable places I’ve visited for vacation is china. China is a large county with incredible sites. Since tourism in china is well-developed, there are various kinds of accommodations there, you can choose from resort, hotels, and guesthouse. China is a great place for everybody.

First of all, I think that Korea is very large country. But my thinking was wrong.The scale of China was indescribable. I was shocked. The country was very very big. First day, I went to Beijing with my friends. There are a lot of foreign in Beijing. I guessed that there were more foreign than china people at the Forbidden City named jaguemsung and across china. From the second day, I toured across the country and I normally took pictures in front of tourist attraction. In my feeling about china, this has long history and brilliant civilization. I think we have to respect their culture.

 Another thing I like to do during vacations is to go shopping. I enjoy visiting shopping malls at tourist spots because I can buy stuff that I can’t buy in Korea.

Overall, the china people are very kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed my trip to china. If I will have a chance to go there again, I will visit to china with my parents. I would strongly recommend china to others.

Admiral Yi sun shin.

 Do you know this historical figure?

 He is a famous person in korea. All koreans know about him well. Admiral Yi Sun shin made history. Today, Admiral Yi is considered one of Korea's greatest heroes of all time. The statue of Admiral Yi sun shin stands triumphantly at Gwanghwamun.

 Yi is remembered for his numerous victories fighting the Japanese during the japanese invasions of Korea. Among his twenty-three victories, the Battle of Myeongnyang and the Battle of Hansan island are the most famous battles.

 He made a special ship named a turtleship. Yi intended to ram enemy ships and sink them. Despite smaller numbers, they could severely damage to enemies. This is his great achievement.

 Yi was killed by a single bullet in the Battle of Noryang. And while he died, he said "Do not let my death be known"
 Overall, all Koreans admire him because he saved our history and territory. Therefore, I introduced him in post. Thank you for your read it
